Peek At Our Week 18

We had such a great week! After some truly crummy weather it was nice to get outside and have fresh air and walk without seeing our breath! We also had a fun little friend join us this week! I had almost forgotten the busyness of a toddler. I had almost forgotten the look of wonder on their faces or how big their eyes get when they see and do things for the first time. The joy that little girl had in just finding shells was so touching! She also had great fun tearing up a cattail and watching the fluff from it float everywhere.

We are still killing the Medieval times and did some pretty cool art this week as well. The kids all had a fun week.

She had a blast painting in her coloring books!

The kids didn't have that great of a time for math! They all decided that geometry activities were not fun and never want to do them again!

It was cute to see Fox helping the girls. I didn't expect them to get it really it was more of an introduction at this point. Geometry is not my thing at all I at least want my kids to have a decent foundation of it even if they don't love it.

Last week they watched a movie/documentary on The Legend Of King Arthur but I figured they would enjoy this too cause even big kids like cartoons! We also studied how medieval books were made, illuminated letters and made some of our own! We learned about The Book of Kells as well and this animated fantasy movie was awesome! The kids all made the first letter of their name.

      "S" for Skyler

      "R" for Rhyli

      "F" for Fox

The girls decided to share the big chair instead of fighting over it! They also started a stained glass project. They made the outline this week and will paint the colors next week. The girls both made different types of roses and Fox made swords crossing.

This is my favorite picture this week. All the kids at the table having fun, learning and being kids!
