Peek At Our Week 26

This week Rhyli finished her journal! She was pretty proud of that!

Skyler was thrilled to get a new pencil sharpener LOL!

The kiddos also started the Tenn Police Academy this week and they had a blast! Fox tried so hard to be serious!

Peek At Our Week 25

My kids were just in a get it done mood this week! It seems like spring break got nothing accomplished other than trashing the whole house with trying to switch bedrooms! They did school this week and not much else other than Skyler deciding that Rhyli's arm was a great canvas for some art!

My house is complete chaos from the switch and we cannot find anything. Even if we find it odds are we cannot get to it anyway! I just keep saying it will all be worth it in the end... My little girl will have a beautiful room and I will finally have a room that I can fit a decent size bed in! We did school this week but endless pics of kids writing and doing math are just not that fun to take LOL.

Our Review Of Zirrly Beads

*******

With a kid who is always on the look out for a new project to do, we were thrilled to review Super Beads from Zirrly! It was great that we got to choose which pack we liked and Skyler chose the Mega Pack.  This way she had her pick of many designs to create!

This is a really neat little arts and crafts kit! The beads fuse together using water, not heat like in other products. I understand my kiddo is thirteen but still mishaps can happen and burns are no fun at all. Best of all this can be done totally on their own depending on age. Skyler had no issues with it at all.

I could not believe all the designs that came in this pack! It was hard to choose because Zirrly has so many cool packs! They even have one for jewelry making!

Spring Break

We decided that my younger daughter and I would switch rooms.... So the nightmare has begun! Popcorn on the ceiling is terrible, why would anyone do this??? We took that off and pulled up the 1,000 year old carpet and realized this is a huge job and we really need to wait for my uncle! Sometimes I overestimate my You Tube abilities LOL. For the most part Fox was a good sport about it though.

I was amazed how clean the ceiling looked after getting this stuff down. It is crazy how much dust that stuff holds onto. Who thinks of dusting a ceiling??

Peek At Our Week 24

The week before Spring Break is always the crazy one! It was a pretty easy going week just the normal stuff pretty much. Rhyli discovered she loves using Magic Stix Markers to do her cursive. She is also still loving her cursive book!

Skyler is starting to use Magic Stix in her journals as well. She usually does pencils but I guess since Rhyli is getting colorful she has to do the same!

Fox is starting to experiment with some new cupcakes for homeschool market day that is coming in May.

Our Review Of Magic Stix

We were so excited to be given the chance to review for The Pencil Grip, Inc. I have loved every product I have used in the past by them so to be offered the Magic Stix Washable Markers was great! These markers are guaranteed not to dry out for seven days and feel free to test that theory because it is completely true! Even though my youngest is thirteen I still find markers with no lids dried out and wasted so these are truly a wonderful product! Just to let you know leaving the cap off will not in any way dull the coloring either. The colors will still be bold and vibrant just like when they were new! Having 24 colors to choose from is pretty impressive as well. Most markers come in such a smaller variety.

I have children that are also sensitive to odors so with these being odorless it is another win win! No one wants to make smelly art projects! Skyler was as usual delighted to be given this set of new markers! She is my artsy kiddo so new supplies always bring on the smiles!

Our Review Of CursiveLogic

Cursive Logic

We were so excited to be given the chance to review CursiveLogic! My daughter has already learned cursive in the past but is not in any way fluent with using it and Rhyli has been begging to learn cursive so this was an amazing opportunity to be able to use! We received the CursiveLogic Quick-Start Pack and the Art of Cursive for this review.

The Quick-Start Pack includes the workbook and a 6 month access to an extremely informative webinar! It explains the method step by step so there is no confusion on how to use this wonderful book! The Art of Cursive is a beautiful coloring book with cursive practice. I knew Rhyli would love the Quick-Start Pack and Skyler would be thrilled to use the coloring book. The coloring book is for those who have already completed the workbook or already know cursive. Both girls are thirteen and have had no issue using this program. I would say that just about any age could use it.

Peek At Our Week 23

These girls are always so bundled up for school! I believe with all my heart they think they can keep the "I am in bed feeling" all day long!

Skyler completed her Charlotte Mason journal this week and has moved on to a new one.
