Field Trip To Starry Night!

Every year the Gainesville History Museum puts on an astronomy night called Starry Night. Skyler looks forward to it every year and it never disappoints. They get these cool little stamp sheets and they go around doing all the activities to get a stamp, when it is full they get a cool prize!

The crawl through is her favorite! She does it first every single year and hates that she can't take hours in that tunnel!

For this activity she got to make an alien. The alien had to be able to survive in certain conditions for the chosen planet though!

She guessed how many moons Mars had and won some cool UV glasses!

I love how they make Lego models that actually work of the types of equipment used in space.

They got to learn all about meteorites being magnetic.

This is another model of a telescope and it was awesome!

As you can imagine this place was packed and it was so full of stuff to do and that put a hindrance on my photography skills! Trust me when I say we had an out of this world time!!!
