What a week! It started off decent enough. Last week everyone was sick and I had hopes this week it was getting better, sadly it did not. We even ended up in the hospital with the boy child. Things happen, you just got to keep moving. You know they say you make plans and God laughs and laughs. That has been pep talk lately. Skyler finally dug into some of her CSI kits! She looked so professional! I need to find her a white lab coat!
She is so cute surrounded by all her doo dads!
First up was some handprint analysis activities.
She practiced making a clay mold of a handprint. It was pretty fun to watch.
Next up we did some fingerprints! She disted a print and learned how to pull it up with this tape stuff.
She also discovered the fun in making fingerprints!
Last we got to do hair analysis and learn how to make slides with liquid latex.
She had a lot of fun and will finally be using her kits! She has quite a few. Fox also worked on some book work in chemistry. It isn't all cooking fun!
Skyler also finished her grammar book!! I really did expect this to last at least half the year. It was her favorite thing to do each day and she spent the most time on it.
Short week but decent week!
