Peek At Our Week 9
What a week! It started off decent enough. Last week everyone was sick and I had hopes this week it was getting better, sadly it did not. We even ended up in the hospital with the boy child. Things happen, you just got to keep moving. You know they say you make plans and God laughs and laughs. That has been pep talk lately. Skyler finally dug into some of her CSI kits! She looked so professional! I need to find her a white lab coat!
She is so cute surrounded by all her doo dads!

Summer Week 9
This week Skyler finished her Shakespeare Globe Theater! She was pretty pleased with herself too!
She also did a bit of work in her fairy gardens. The plate is for bees to have water she is calling it a bee lake!
The fairy cook book came out and she whipped up some treats!

A peek At our week 9!
Well our week started with a warning from my oldest!
Apparently the night before she didn't know how to kill the bug, so she trapped the bug and left us a warning. She is such an inventive girl!
This was Skylers last week with her Kitty Doodle journal. She was sad but excited to move on to a new theme. Next week she starts MINECRAFT!
This was also her last week with space. She made a Mars Rover.
We attempted a cool rocket only to find the pieces broken after we put it together, that was disappointing!
We made a telescope as well!
She made some constellations on the bathroom wall.
We also played with solar beads to show how the sun can change the color of certain things.
In pottery she painted her egg cooker and her pumpkin patch!
She did a BOO Halloween program where she volunteered as a helper! I am so proud of this. It is helping so much with her speaking skills, communication and team work! I adore our little library and the lady who runs all the programs.
They put on this amazing shadow puppet show! It was adorable and I am so thrilled Skyler was allowed to help in that! It was based on the book called "Oh Yeah".
Fox is in between his journals right now waiting to pick a new one, so he is using pages from what was left of the Aspergers journal.
Since he is learning about solar power he made some solar robots!
Damian is still moving on. Not totally thrilled but still trudging through! He has also started using the Dyslexia Games again because I am thinking it helped with concentration and handwriting.
This week he whipped up some devils food cupcakes from scratch! I was not fond of them but the kids sure were!
You have to excuse the messy house but, we live here! The other kids had no problem helping Damian either of course!! I feel this was a pretty quick light week! It is my first week back at any type of job so it has been a learning experience for us all!

Peek At Our week!!! Week 9 semester 2
Well we had a busy week! School, co-op, pottery, swap day and I got to do a Thinking Tree book give-away! Very Full Fun Week. We also had some accidental science!
Fox was riding his bike on the road and mistakenly ran over a snake. My kids are big animal lovers he felt really bad about this. He was really wondering though why there was such a huge middle on the snake. So we decided to dissect it and see what we found.
It was pretty gross but pretty cool all at the same time!
This week we did school of course! Skyler has moved into another dyslexics book! YAY Skyler. They are all still moving along in math. Math progress is slow progress here no lie. In my opinion any progress it awesome and as long as we move forward I don't complain at the speed.
For co-op this week we learned about wheels and axles. As usual this awesome momma has her lesson plans shared online! The waterwheel was an awesome activity!!
At co-op I also got to give-away some Thinking Tree Books!!! That was such fun. On Friday it was Homeschool Swap Day so I was able to pass along even more books!!
In pottery this week Skyler has started making a bowl. This bowl is a bit involved. It will had a pedestal and a rim. I am so excited to see when it is finished up! My wonderful friend Amanda brought baby bunnies, I mean really baby bunnies!! Seems her pet rabbit threw her babies out and refuses to care for them. So they are going to give it a try to care for them.
Skyler finished up her week at Home Depot building an angry birds bird house!!!
Well that was our week! I hope everyone else had a great week as well!!!! Linking up with homeschooling6 this week.

MAM Monday week 9 semester 2
Well our Monday went about the way it always does! We played some Speed and our math game of course!
This week our winner was my little man Fox!!!
We also finished up the orchestra activity for the Home school In The Woods. The kids were glad to see this activity finished! It seemed to take quite a while to do.
We worked some more on See The Light Paper Jungle. This week they made animals and I adore the tiger Fox made!!
Well that is about it for Monday!!! Happy Week Everyone!!!!!!!
