Peek At Our Week 18

We had such a great week! After some truly crummy weather it was nice to get outside and have fresh air and walk without seeing our breath! We also had a fun little friend join us this week! I had almost forgotten the busyness of a toddler. I had almost forgotten the look of wonder on their faces or how big their eyes get when they see and do things for the first time. The joy that little girl had in just finding shells was so touching! She also had great fun tearing up a cattail and watching the fluff from it float everywhere.

We are still killing the Medieval times and did some pretty cool art this week as well. The kids all had a fun week.

Field Trip!!!

We ended our very busy day with a walk through the Harn Art Museum. I fell in love with the maps!

I could not imagine living in a world where the books were made by hand. I would want all of them!

While we saw many amazing things sadly my camera died! It was a packed whirlwind kind of day and it was amazing! All of my kids and their dad for the whole day and I was sad when it ended!

Field Trip!!!

While in Gainesville for the fair we just had to stop and see the fabulous frogs at the museum! A few times a year they have a traveling exhibit and as usual this did not disappoint! The kids got to see all kinds of different frogs and learn way more than I have ever thought of about them!

I can still remember the kids who used to catch the frogs outside and bring them in the house just to play with!

When did those boys get so big???

Field Trip!!!

This week we enjoyed stepping back in time to the Medieval fair! We go every year and every year it is just amazing! The sights, the smells, the sounds, the taste and just the everything! The actors are truly amazing as well. They cater to all the little girls dressed up and always stay in character which makes the whole day way more fun!

My little princess with Robin Hood and Maid Marion!

Skyler has to visit the Queen every year!
