Peek At Our Week 30 Field Trip and Teen Academy

       We got to start our week off with another field trip!!! My kids love field trips and I love the museums home school days. They are so hands on which is how my kids learn best and the people there are just so good with my kids. It was of course better since we got to take a friend again!

        We started our trip at the butterfly rain forest. My kids have been here a few times but it always amazes them. 

        So many butterflies to see and they are literally everywhere!

Peek At Our Week 33

        We are still trucking on through these last few weeks! Finishing stuff up and figuring out where to pick up in the Fall. My kiddos will still do school activities over the summer, Rhyli will not be here for that. She is planning on finishing her cursive book this summer. 

       Skyler has finished up another journal this year. She has adored the books she has read as well. She is finally starting to pick her own stuff instead of just telling me to get something!

Peek At Our Week 32

       I do believe I am tired of busy weeks! We got to see the miracle of birth when a pregnant cat was left at my work this week. No animal should be treated this way but I won't get started on that. The kids truly enjoyed seeing this and I truly enjoyed knowing we could help a little momma out! The kittens are just adorable.

        The kiddos had such a fun and full week! They were able to not only meet an amazing Veteran from Vietnam but were guests at his home. He taught Fox to fish in his pond, let the kiddos swim and they truly enjoyed seeing the inside of his house which in my opinion may as well be a museum!

      Another fun week at Teen Police Academy! This week they got to meet a tracking dog and watch him do his job! 

       

       Of course it is my daughter leading the group running after the pup! She informed me that she now wants a dog just like this! I hate to break it to her but the animals now out number the humans in our house so there will be NO more!

        The kids had so much fun at The Teen Police Academy this week! They also got their uniform shirts and look pretty pleased with themselves being all official!
