Field Trip!!!!!

        Since we are studying Medieval Times this school year, I was thrilled to learn of a museum not too far away! The Medieval Torture Museum! I knew it would be a fun day! The kids adore Medieval and field trips so win win!! I really wasn't prepared for the amount of torture though! I never dreamt there were that many ways to torment a person. I will warn you the pictures are pretty graphic. This stuff don't phase my kids but it may phase you! Skyler was also amazed at all the things they did to so called "witches". That was almost a field trip in a field trip for her! We posted all of that stuff on her Magic School Blog.

Peek At Our Week 8

        The week before Halloween!!! We are taking Halloween week off. This week we studied Halloween History besides doing regular school. Fox made meringue cookies in chemistry this week. We have made these several times so i am not sure what went wrong this time they turned out very brown.

        This week we took a lot of our school to the library! I love the library and for the most part the kids do too. Rhyli is doing math while Fox is watching videos for Guest Hollow Chemistry.

Field Trip!!! And An Art Class

        We had so much fun visiting the Gateway Art Gallery this weekend and Skyler had a blast taking the kids art class. It was neat seeing all the art by local artists. I told Skyler one day her art will hang in a gallery! The best part was learning these classes are once a month so she will for sure be wanting to join the others as well. 

Peek At Our Week 5 And 6

       When witches go riding and black cats are seen, the moon laughs and whispers, tis near Halloween!!!!! Halloween has landed here the past two weeks that is for sure! In between decorating we of course did some school too! We always have fun setting up everything for Halloween. This year Skyler was big into helping. Usually she sits back and watches but she took charge of a few projects this year! First up was the living room. 

       Chucky just insists the new baby be by him all the time! 

       sadly we had to put the new member of the family in a cage, she just hasn't grasped that we don't eat the family pets yet!

       Rhyli just adores Little Chucky!
