This week Fox finally got to use the whip cream maker and he had a blast! The experiments for Guest Hollow Kitchen Chemistry are truly fun for him since he loves to cook and bake. He made orange creamsicle flavor and it was really good!
The first batch came out a bit wrong, he realized he added way too much xanthan gum. The girls had a blast playing with it though so live and learn!
He had also decided to make chocolate bowls for the whipped cream. We had never done this before only watched videos so it was all new. Using balloons in chocolate making was an experience!
We had quite a bit of chocolate left so he decided to make chocolate masks from the masks of the world mold set we had.
Skyler finally decided to pull out her CSI field kit and DNA strand set to explore. She had fun going through all the cool little things inside. From her science readings she already knew what quite a lot of it was too!
Aries is always where the action is! he is a sCool cat as Skyler says!
All in all it was a fun full week. The kids are falling into a routine and not hating the world yet so we are still doing good!
